A Little About Adele Castillo
Adele Castillo lives with her biggest fan (her husband) and their furkids near the city of Richmond, VA, although she spent most of her life in the Tidewater area now known as Hampton Roads.
A graduate of Old Dominion University, Adele holds a B.S. in Art Education and has taken a number of advanced classes as well as workshops to continue honing her skills in painting. She left her teaching career with Virginia Beach Schools after 19 years to spend more time creating. This also allowed her to begin teaching art to adult students. Adele currently maintains a working studio and classroom in Crossroads Art Center.
Adele is passionate about animals and their right to be treated with respect and dignity. Gardening and reading are fun diversions when the time allows, the beach is her favorite place on earth, an intense expression belies her mostly easy-going nature and she writes unpublished creative non-fiction on a fairly regular basis.
Adele blogs semi-regularly about her experiences with animals, art and whatever else crosses her mind. You may check her Blog here by clicking on the Blog Link.
