"This is new territory for someone who would rather be painting or hanging out with her dogs than spending time on the computer. I'm still navigating all the options the blogger world has to offer, and eventually hope to post bi-weekly. give or take.

The whole reason behind blogging is to keep my clientele informed as to what I'm doing, where I'm showing work, what's up with the wait list!! and so on. I find it a little disconcerting to be so public, when I'm essentially a private person. Not shy, just private.

Anyway, here goes Post No. 2 and more will follow in due time.
Then I'm off to the studio. Commission work is calling".

"I've spent the rest of my "vacation" time prepping for the show opening this Friday night - Castillo and Company. I am so proud of this show. It's the first one I have organized and mostly showcases the work of my talented students. It also includes a few of my paintings and that of fellow artists Mike Keeling and Hugh Harris. Some of my students are exhibiting artists as well. Even though others are beginners, they are all astoundingly talented. I hope to post photos as soon as the show is ready. The event is posted on Facebook".
